Go behind the scenes at three Ethical Clothing Australia accredited manufacturers
On Friday 20 February 2026, Ethical Clothing Australia welcomed guests to the Ethical Manufacturers Tour as part of PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival.
Beginning in Fitzroy, the tour gave attendees a behind the scenes look at local clothing and textile manufacturing through visits to three Ethical Clothing Australia accredited businesses, Next State Print, Wilderness Wear and Humphrey Law.
Throughout the morning, guests had the opportunity to meet the people behind Australian manufacturing and gain a deeper understanding of the skill, precision and care involved in producing garments and textiles locally.
Each visit offered a different perspective on ethical local production. At Next State Print, attendees learned more about digital textile printing and on demand manufacturing. At Wilderness Wear, the focus was on Australian made merino garments. At Humphrey Law, guests saw a long standing local manufacturer with deep expertise in sock production.
