Ethically Made in Australia Pop-Up Event | 25 – 29 June, 2025 | 306 – 308 Brunswick Street Fitzroy, Victoria

As an ethically accredited business, you’re invited to take part in our first Ethically Made in Australia Pop-Up Event from Wednesday 25 June to Sunday 29 June. This is a 5-day showcase of local, ethical manufacturing in the textile, clothing and footwear (TCF) industry.

Held in a prime retail space on Brunswick Street in Fitzroy, this is a unique opportunity to connect with the public, generate new leads, and give your brand exposure in one of Melbourne’s most lively shopping precincts.

Throughout the week, 4 curated events will give accredited brands different ways to network, showcase products, connect with consumers and celebrate the local TCF industry. This will include networking sessions, promotional activations, and panels.

Why take part?

  • Highlight the strength and variety of locally manufactured products
  • Showcase your products to an engaged, values-aligned audience
  • Boost your brand visibility in a curated space with high foot traffic
  • Make appointments and generate leads directly from the pop-up

It’s a valuable opportunity for manufacturers to showcase locally made, ethically accredited products and connect with key decision-makers. 4. Meet The Makers

Are you ready to showcase your work to a broader audience in a unique, high-traffic location on Brunswick Street, Fitzroy?

We’re inviting all Ethical Clothing Australia-accredited businesses to take part in our Meet the Makers retail activation — an opportunity to connect with customers and sell your products directly.

Brands are encouraged to submit garments for display in the shop. Depending on space and interest, this could be three signature pieces to represent your range, or a single product in multiple sizes to give customers a try-before-you-buy experience. Each item will be tagged with a QR code, linking directly to your website so shoppers can purchase on the spot.

You don’t need to attend in person, but if you’re interested, we’re inviting designers to spend an hour in-store as part of our ‘Meet the Makers’ event. It’s a chance to share insights into your design process and discuss what ethical accreditation means to your business and values.

Interested in taking part?

Great! There are a few ways you can get involved.

1. Display your products in Fitzroy

For Manufacturers

Join us in Fitzroy for a four-day showcase of locally made, ethically accredited fashion and manufacturing. It’s a chance to show government and corporate stakeholders what can be manufactured locally—and why it’s worth choosing.

Depending on interest, we’re looking for 2–5 items per business, ideally your most innovative or eye-catching pieces, for example uniforms, work, and safety wear. Items will be displayed either on a hanger or mannequin with printed take-home materials that highlight your capabilities.

Manufacturers are encouraged to utilise the space.

For Fashion Brands*

Showcase your latest creations or must-have hero pieces. Supply either a range of sizes for 1–2 key pieces, or multiple styles in a single size.
*Space is dependent on interest.

Items will be displayed either on a hanger or mannequin and will be available to try on and purchase via a QR code that will direct them to your website.

Accredited fashion brands across Australia are encouraged to take part.

The shop will be staffed during opening hours, but we will not be able to take payments. Attend the Friday, Saturday or Sunday session to discuss your work, connect with customers or bring in prospective buyers and use the space as a showroom.

2. Let us know which events you’d like to be part of

Throughout the week, we’ll host a series of events where manufacturers and brands can connect directly with government procurement teams, customers, accredited businesses and other stakeholders. These will include:

  1. Launch party – celebrate and network with government representatives, the TCF Union, media and other ethically accredited businesses as we kick off our Ethically Made in Australia Pop-Up Event.
