Ethical Clothing Australia (ECA®) is pleased to announce Sydney’s Ensign Ties and Scarves as its latest accredited company, joining a growing community of Australian businesses committed to ethical and local production.
Proudly family-owned since 1934, Ensign is one of Australia’s first and oldest manufacturers of men’s neckties and accessories.
“It’s great to have a fourth-generation family-owned business like Ensign among our accredited brands and manufacturers,” ECA National Manager Angela Bell said.
“They bring with them a wealth of experience in Australia’s textile, clothing and footwear industry and offer Australian consumers and businesses an independently accredited ethical formal wear option.”
“We know that a lot of men are looking for ethical fashion and formalwear and so it’s particularly pleasing to have Ensign accredited.”
As well as its own in-house range of Australian made neckwear and scarf products, Ensign hosts a full production line for cutting and sewing services, and manufactures formal, uniform and fashion neckwear for all levels of industry and designer labels.
