Ethical Clothing Australia (ECA®) is pleased to announce its newest accreditation, Sydney-based ‘smarter casual’ label Citizen Wolf. Blending technology with local production and an outsider ethos, Citizen Wolf are redefining how clothes are made and sold, starting with the not-so-humble tee. Each garment is laser-cut and hand made in Citizen Wolf’s workshop, using certified 100% organic cotton milled in Melbourne.
“Citizen Wolf is such a good business story – they are offering shoppers a custom made product and at the same time they are adding to the sustainability of the industry by not producing fast-fashion products that don’t fit properly or that no-one wants to buy,” ECA National Manager Angela Bell said.
“I have been to their original micro factory in Darlinghurst and it’s a place where a customer can go in and see the fabrics and the equipment and also get measured if you don’t want to complete your order online. It’s great to see businesses that are developing different ways of doing things and minimising waste at the same time.”
Built around a core belief in buying better by buying less, Citizen Wolf lets you create the wardrobe classics that you want to wear. Choose a template, pick your favourite from more than 50 different fabrics and then get a perfectly tailored fit with their MagicFit algorithm.
