ECA’s Guide to Melbourne Fashion Week 2022

Melbourne Fashion Week is back for 2022! This year, the festival will be held on 10–16 October and focuses on the city’s vibrant and diverse fashion community. The 2022 program features a number of ECA-accredited businesses, check out our guide to M/FW 2022 below to learn more.
Fashion x Art at State Library Victoria
Featuring ECA accredited brand Arnsdorf, this fashion showcase will take over the iconic rooms of State Library Victoria, including the La Trobe Reading Room and Ian Potter Queen’s Hall.
Monday 10 October (three sessions) at State Library Victoria, 328 Swanston Street
Dockside Runway
With a skyline view as the backdrop, this runway will fuse street and sub-culture fashions featuring ECA accredited brands A.BCH and The Social Studio.
Tuesday 11 October (two sessions) at Shed 21, 206 Lorimer Street under Bolte Bridge
QVM Dairy Hall Runway
Held at the Queen Victoria Market Dairy Hall, this runway promises to show crisp, clean and bold modern fashion from local designers, including ECA accredited brand Veronika Maine.
Wednesday 12 October (three sessions) at Dairy Produce Hall, Queen Victoria Market, Queen Street
Walker Lane Runway
Featuring ECA accredited brand REMUSE, this day-time runway is located in one of Melbourne’s busiest precincts at Collins Square and promises a range of designs for all occasions.

Roadmap To A Circular Fashion Economy
Dewi Cooke of The Social Studio is featuring in the panel at this event talking about how Australia can progress towards clothing circularity.

Showcasing Melbourne’s rising contemporary modest fashion scene, this runway features ECA accredited brand The Social Studio.

Circular Future – a talk and pop up by A.BCH
Held at the circular factory of ECA accredited brand A.BCH, this talk will debunk circular-economy myths, explore the future of clothing and realise the potential of design and systems thinking to create holistic change.
