Born in Chile, designer Dayana Adones grew up in Melbourne and felt unsatisfied with the growing trend of fast fashion. She lives by the idea that adequate time and love should be given to every stage of a garment's creation and values the slow movement within the fashion industry.
With sustainability in mind, each style is lovingly created with high quality textiles and craftsmanship to ensure longevity. A minimalistic approach is used to create timeless pieces that can withstand the seasons and be cherished for years to come.
To reduce wastage and over production, all of Meraki's garments are produced in small runs or made-to-order in Melbourne, Australia. Dayana is committed to keeping manufacturing local to support Australian industry, economy and the talented makers within the city.
Note: All Australian made Meraki products are ECA accredited.
